Hello, the amount of coffee used depends on the darkness of your coffee bean roast, as well as how strong you prefer your coffee. Some people say 2 Tablespoons per 6 Oz. of water, but it is personal preference. This product is made of stainless steel and is easy to clean.

Hi. This coffee maker is a French coffee press type. To make coffee, you fill this with coarsely ground coffee. Add hot water, put the plunger/lid on top, steep for 4 minutes, then slowly press the plunger down to capture the coffee grounds. Then serve. You can also make tea this way.

ANSWER
The 17 oz French press makes 3-4 cups. We do not have a 22 oz French press. The 23 oz French press will make 5-6 cups.
