QUESTION
I have had this reader for around 2 months now and it is constantly flashing purple then turning off. I have removed the battery and put it back in, recalibrated it multiple times and replaced the battery. Nothing is fixing this problem. I cannot find anything on the manual stating why this is happening but I run a kitchen that has strict times I need to be able to take the temperature otherwise I can’t serve the food. I can’t keep spending thirty mins playing with it to get it to turn on and do its job. Troubleshooting doesn’t work either. HELP please, at this point it’s not worth buying it with how high the price is if it can’t do its damn job.
