Replacement hard rubber friction part for older Thompson pepper grinder. If goes inside th top cap and provides the friction to turn the lower grinding g mechanism.
ANSWER
Old Thompson refillable pepper mills have a lifetime warranty on the grinding mechanism which covers either repair or replacement. If the mill is wooden, Old Thompson can try to repair but if it is acrylic or metal like the mentioned 3521-40, then they would look to replace it. Since this appears to be a warranty issue, you can send Old Thompson photos of the mill and the issues it is having and they can start the warranty procedure on their end. Old Thompson does not have any replacement parts so they would most likely send you a replacement mill. You are welcome to send the photos to the Old Thompson general customer service email, Otw.customer@ofi.com, and they will assist in fulfilling a warranty claim.
