Hi, the basket is able to be removed. Once the basket is installed, it simply folds/lifts up thanks to a mounting hinge. Thank you.

hello. can the wheelchair basket interface with a power wheelchair if I ordered a certain type of arm? My patient will be utilizing an invacare m61 with captain seat and flip back arms.

Hi. This basket is not designed to fit any wheelchair other than the Amigo. There are mounting instructions in the "literature" tab of this product's page if you'd like to see how it fits onto the wheelchair. Thanks!

This item is the basket only. The literature tab had instructions how to attach the basket to a wheelchair and it will lift/fold on a hinge after attached. Thank you.

There are mounting instructions under the literature tab...if you are asking about once it is installed then it simply folds/lifts up thanks to a mounting hinge..the basket weighs approximately 3 lbs
