Description

This innovative knife sharpener from Wusthof is conveniently designed for left and right‐handed use. It features two levels available for sharpening knives. The first level, "Coarse", is recommended for when the knife is blunt and the second level, "Fine", is suitable for fine sharpening following on from the first level or for regular re‐sharpening of the blade. To use, insert the rear end of the knife vertically into the slot with the grinding slats and pull gently through to the tip, keeping the blade straight. The ceramic slats grind the blade and the knife regains its original sharpness. This sharpener is suitable for sharpening all sorts of different knives. Serrated knives should only be sharpened using second level, "Fine", in order to remove any burrs that have developed. Knives should be cleaned prior to and after sharpening. Knives with a serrated edge should be sharpened using the second level. This is an essential tool for any kitchen!
