To preserve the beauty and cutting performance of your forged cutlery, we recommend washing your knives by hand and thoroughly drying them after each use. Although the knives are water-resistant and dishwasher-safe, harsh dishwasher detergents may dull the finish of the handles and stain the blades over time. Automatic dishwashing can also damage the blades by knocking them against other utensils.

QUESTION
Does this knife have a serrate edge. I bought several of these knives with a black handle,gave them to my children, and now I can't find the same knife. I bought it at an Ace hardware,and it was very inexpensive,but a wonderful,wonderful knife and so handy to use.
