Before purchasing this pan, I just want to be sure....is it magnetic and "induction capable"? I love to make these, but I can't use my good ole Nordic ware pan on our new induction cooktop. Thank you!
Hi. This pan is made of cast iron, which is said to be good for induction. But you just have to be careful not to scratch the surface of your induction cooktop because non-enameled cast iron pans have a rough texture. I've also read that you can put a sheet of parchment paper between them to reduce scratching. Thanks!

can this be used for gas top stove. I heard they are made for either electric or gas or both.
Hi. Yes, this can be used for electric, gas, and also induction ranges because it is cast iron. Thanks!

What is the bottom of this pan like, flat or open/contoured?
The bottom of the P7A3 is more open, but has a thick heat ring that runs around the bottom. Hope this helps.

Can this be place on electric stove? And is the bottom of the pan flat?
Hello, yes, this can be used on electric stoves. It is actually safe for all heat sources, except the microwave and dishwasher. The bottom of the pan has an "open" design to accommodate the aebleskiver divets. It does have a thick heat ring that runs along the perimeter of the bottom however. Thank you!
