QUESTION Before purchasing this pan, I just want to be sure....is it magnetic and "induction capable"? I love to make these, but I can't use my good ole Nordic ware pan on our new induction cooktop. Thank you!
ANSWER Hi. This pan is made of cast iron, which is said to be good for induction. But you just have to be careful not to scratch the surface of your induction cooktop because non-enameled cast iron pans have a rough texture. I've also read that you can put a sheet of parchment paper between them to reduce scratching. Thanks!

QUESTION I would like to know what country the Lodge P7A3 9in. cast iron Aebleskiver pan is manufactured.
ANSWER Hello, this pan is made in the USA. Thank you!
QUESTION Can this be place on electric stove? And is the bottom of the pan flat?
ANSWER Hello, yes, this can be used on electric stoves. It is actually safe for all heat sources, except the microwave and dishwasher. The bottom of the pan has an "open" design to accommodate the aebleskiver divets. It does have a thick heat ring that runs along the perimeter of the bottom however. Thank you!
I was skeptical as I've seen many aebleskiver pans that are shallow/not round making football shaped pancakes. Until now nothing would compare to my antique Griswold pan. A co-worker bought this pan and I offered to try it out. Worked great from the first pan I cooked. I will be recommending this pan to all my friends that want to cook aebleskivers!
