QUESTION
I work for the resturant chickfila. I'm sure you must be familiar with our place. My question is we have two Edlund digital scales series ll DS 10. One is working fine,but the other one. How can i explain this in simple terms. The screen on the other scale is but no numbers come up. The screen has like six marks above the screen. You can turn it on but nothing shows up on the screen. The batteries have been changed but nothing on the screen but those six digital mark above the screen. Is there a way to fix that problem. Can you refur us to a troubleshooting website . Thank you for your help

how do you change this from grams to Ounces
ANSWER
Hello, here are the steps listed by the manufacturer on how to change the scale from ounces/pounds to grams; however, the same steps can be followed for the reverse (just make sure you choose ounces instead of grams). Thank you!
1. If scale is on, press on/off switch to shut it off.
2. Depress and hold on/off switch until kg is displayed. This takes approximately 5 seconds.
3. Release on/off switch.
4. Quickly depressing on/off switch once will change units to lbs. Quickly depressing on/off switch again will change units back to kg.
5. When desired units are showing, depress and hold on/off switch until 88888 is displayed. This takes approximately 5 seconds. Release switch and the display will show zeros and the desired units.
6. If someone inadvertently changes from one unit of weighing to another, follow the steps required to return to the desired weighing mode.
