This 10" Forged Cook's Knife is made from one piece of specially tempered high carbon steel which has been sharpened to an extraordinary sharp yet easily maintainable point. For added longevity, the black handle of this extremely versatile knife is crafted from synthetic materials and triple-riveted onto the full tang extension. Wusthof Classic 10" Forged Cook's Knife

I am buying my second knife in twenty-five years as a Professional Chef. First one is doing great, but showing a little ware on the cutting edge after daily use for years of working in the culinary industry. Only I can tell, during use it needs replacing. I could not pass up this deal on this knife.
