QUESTION
What type of ice is best used with this machine? Does it have to be a block of ice or other?

ANSWER
Hello, this machine uses cubed ice. This ice can come from bagged ice, ice makers, or a home ice cube tray, etc. The manufacturer recommends however that the ice is slightly "wet" and is not used when it is frosty. Thank you!

QUESTION
How do you clean and sanitize this Sno Kone Machine? Can the ice container be run thru a dish machine, or does it have to be washed by hand? Is there any special chemicals requires do clean and do any parts need to be lubricated?
