Description

This Waring® Commercial Italian Style Grill has flat cast iron plates, great for pressing sandwiches or grilling meats and vegetables. It is adjustable up to 570°F and has heat‐resistant handles. This grill features a hinged auto‐balancing top to suit thicker foods, and includes a removable drip tray and adjustable back feet.

QUESTION
Is there a way to adjust the top plate. It is smashing my grilled cheeses

ANSWER
This Waring grill comes with a handle tension control that allows you to adjust the tension on the rear hinges so the top plate will remain open at the appropriate level and maneuver to your needs. Sinmply raise adjusting screw cover on back of unit and insert allen wrench into adjusting screw. To increase handle tension turn allen wrench clockwise and to reduce handle tension turn allen wrench counter clockwise. These grills provide the best result when used with thicker breads.
