I was going to purchase the pan without the rivets and my cook thinks the rivets are
the way to go. How is the one without rivets constructed to keep the handle from
coming off. It is priced higher--
Also, Is there a big difference in the type of non-stick surface from the Wear Guard to the Cerami-Guard II? I want a durable surface--knowing that we can't use metal scrapers etc.
Hello, according to the manufacturer the CeramiGuard II is a coating system that has superior durability and release qualities, even in high-heat applications. It also better withstands the abuse of metal utensils. The WearGuard is a new and improved coating that releases better and scratches less. Vollrath is a trusted company and any of their higher-end products would be durable for long-term use. Thank you!
