need to know inside diameter of basket and height from inside bottom of base to top of rim thank you

Haven't had this item very long, but it does everything it is supposed to. It's a very good quality item. The only problem I've had with it so far is that if you remove the lid when it's hot, it doesn't fit back on easily. That's only because its tight fitting(which is good), so I expect it will loosen up as time goes by. I recommend this item, it's well worth it's price to me.

It was a surprise to see how well made this steamer is. I wasn't expecting something this great looking for the price I paid. After cleaning & steaming the steamer for 30 minutes while it was empty, like the instructions said, I was all set to cook something in it. I decided to steam some veggies & Cod fish. I put lettuce leaves in the bottom of each tray (as suggested) and then put the veggies in the lower tray & the Cod in the upper one. Never having used this type of steamer before, I made my first mistake...not having the heat high enough for enough steam! To make a long story short, it took twice as long as suggested in the instructions to cook everything. All in all though, it turned out tasting great, and I'm looking forward to using this steamer many more times in the future! The only thing not so great about it was that the leaves I put in the bottom tried to stick to the bottom of the trays, but was not a major problem as they came off easily with the wok brush I purchased at the same time as the steamer. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!
