QUESTION
When the mercury is separated can that be fixed or still work?

ANSWER
The thermometer you have does not have mercury in it. It contains a non-toxic alchohol based permacolor filler. You can try to shake it back together or use a magnet to bring them back together. If that does not work, please let us know. Thank you.
