Description

This Taylor® Precision Infrared Thermometer measures surface temperatures and has a non‐contact design to promote sanitation. It has a temperature range of ‐67° F to 428° F and has a one second response time. This thermometer has scan, lock, minimum/maximum, and auto off features. It includes a protective rubber casing. This thermometer is designed for food service use only.

QUESTION
I just purchased your product and converted it to Fahrenheit and discovered that the temperature of both my wife and I was 9 degrees less than normal. What could be the issue here? The battery appears to be OK by the symbol on screen. Please let me know, as I did purchase this product thinking that it was very versatile and convenient even to measure my personal temps. Robert

Sorry, the 9527 is not a medical grade IR thermometer. The thermometers we sell at Wasserstrom.com are designed for Food Service use.

Can this thermometer be used to measure body/forehead temperature on people

ANSWER
This thermometer is not to be used on people. We do have some personal non-contact thermometers that can be used on people such as items 6084146 and 6084420. Thank you.
