QUESTION
Received this today as a gift. 1.) Is the lid suppose to lock? (Is the latch just for opening the lid or is it suppose to latch the lid shut? 2.) If not is the lid suppose to be a very tight fit? The one I received does not latch shut and the lid does not fit with a tight seal. Not sure if it is defective or not and don't want to return for an exchange needlessly. ANSWER
Hello, the lid on this product does not seal. It is just a normal cover that helps prevent the contents from escaping/contaminants from entering. I have a twelve cup coffee pot, what beverage server should I order to hold all twelve cups? Thank you.

Hello, 12 cups of coffee is about 96 Oz. or about 2.8 liters. Item #6016444 is a beverage server that can hold 6 liters. Many of our servers are smaller and are intended to be refilled, unlike self-serve airpots and similar items. Thank you!

QUESTION
How do you get it to vacuum seal?

ANSWER
Hello, this server is vacuum insulated and has a cover. It does not specifically "seal" as the name suggests. It will keep beverages hot for much longer than non-insulated servers. Thank you!

QUESTION
I am about to order the beverage server above I have been served with it before and was impressed. However when I looked at the specs I was shocked at the size and weight, I find it hard to believe that it weighs 19.7 lbs empty.

ANSWER
Hello, according to the manufacturer this beverage server weighs 2 lbs. This product has not had a description written for it yet, and the "specifications" tab can be unreliable. This product also has a 9-3/8" height, measures 6-5/8" from front to back, is 5-3/4" at its widest point at the base, and 3-3/4" at the front. Thank you!

Do you have one canister for decaf coffee and another for regular coffee? Are these marked so they can be separated? Do they cost the same?``

Hello, this is just one 1.5 L beverage server. We do carry pots that have orange lids to separate them from the caffeinated coffee. Thank you!
