QUESTION
Is this in three pieces and needs assembly? Could the shield be used without the stand if I was suspending it from a ceiling?

ANSWER
The Bon Chef 90177 is 3 sections, ships flat, not considered to need assembly since there is no hardware. If you need to suspend the shield from ceiling, that would be a custom item. Bon Chef recommends the 90150 Style that comes without counter-top mounting hardware. You would need to contact customer service at 1-866-634-8927 for a custom order. Please specify if ceiling is drop style or solid sheet rock. If you need a chain to suspend, specify how many feet or inches from ceiling top to bottom of the shield. Please note that custom items are non-returnable. Hope this is helpful. Thanks!
