QUESTION
I purchased the WRP-20 yesterday 7/30/25 and it’s “raw” wood, does it need any type of seasoning before 1st use? I’m going to be using it for pie crust. I love its shape and seems like it will be easy to work with, just unsure of the finish on it? I’m a novice baker, not professional by no means🙂 thanks.

ANSWER
Hello, this rolling pin does not need seasoned. You may optionally treat or condition it to extend its lifespan and maintain the wood by applying a light coat of food-safe mineral oil occasionally to keep the wood from drying or cracking. Thank you.
