QUESTION Will these jars hold up in a freezer for a month or two? ! It’s for storing frozen foods.
ANSWER This glass jar can be frozen keeping in mind thermal changes (thermal shock scenarios). This jar is thermal shock tested at a 90 degrees Fahrenheit differential using ASTM method C149. Please note that anyone should be cognizant and responsible for understanding the expansion rate of the material they are placing in or applying to the jar to be frozen. Thank you.

QUESTION Can the jars be used for canning and freezing?
ANSWER The answer depends upon the temperature the glass would be heated to. If it is more than about 150 degrees F, then no. Also you should warm up the glass before filing it with wax in order to minimize thermal shocking.

QUESTION Hello. Can you tell me if the Libbey 16oz drinking jar can be used to pour candles into? If it is rated for hot temperatures? Also, what is the neck size and thread? We normally use mayo jars that look exactly like these and they use a 70-450 lid. If these will work for us we would need 24 dozen to start. Thanks.
ANSWER The Libbey 92103 drinking jar is not compatible for use in candle making. The lid designed for this drinking jar is the Libbey gold metal lid, model 92136 and the top diameter (neck size) is 2 5/8”.

ANSWER Hi, the manufacturer has this jar at 5-1/8" tall, 2-5/8" as the top diameter and 2-1/2" as the bottom diameter. The maximum diameter is 3-1/8" Thank you.
