How do you mount this? Do you have something for that as well?

Hello, this product has a base that fits onto the end of a table. The base screws onto the table, holding it in place. This can be seen on the Spec Sheet under the Literature tab for this product. Thank you!

QUESTION
Please tell me the differences between the can openers with and without the
base. I'm not sure how either works or whether or not the base is necessary.
Do they need to attach to a counter or do they stand independently?
Thank you,
Robin
ANSWER
Hello, this particular can opener with the base fits onto the end of a table - the base screws into the table, keeping it in place (a visual of this can be seen in the Spec sheet under the Literature tab). The same opener without the base is item #302711, but the base is recommended for stability and ease-of-use. Thank you!

QUESTION
How do you get #2 apart to replace the gear? Thanks, Dale
ANSWER
Hi. To remove the old gear, place a screwdriver head in the right side of the gear to jam it. Then move the can opener's handle counterclockwise until you don't feel anymore resistance. Next remove the old gear. Take the new gear, make sure that the side marked "up" is facing up (touching the washer plate), and insert those back into the opener. Hold the gear in and turn the opener's handle clockwise. There might be some instructional videos on Youtube if you want a visual explanation. Thanks!
