Description

Tannic enhances the qualities of tannic wines like Cabernet or Merlot, and preserves the aromatic richness of young wines. This 18.5 ounce tannic glass features the contemporary and innovative design of the Open Up line, which angles sharply outward from the top of the stem, then gently back inwards towards the rim. The angled bowl base allows the release of molecules necessary for young wines to rapidly and perfectly oxygenate, and the rounded upper bowl concentrates aromas around the finely edged rim for a pleasant overall drinking experience. This glass is also made from Krysta® advanced material, which offers superior brilliance and transparency while maintaining strength.

Loved this glass the minute I touched it. It has an inviting appeal and elegant shape. I was served a beautiful Cabernet in this glass at a beautiful resort and discovered they were available in the gift shop and they can't keep them in stock! $18.99 ea is what I paid!!! Now to find it here for such a reasonable price is fantastic! Playing detective sure paid off!!! Thank you Wasserstrom!

It shows very well on a formal dining table and for everyday use too. My husband thought they were a little too big at first but quickly liked them. I love the fact that they are durable and dishwasher safe. we'll see overtime but I offered the same glasses to a family member 5 years ago and none broke with a constant dishwasher use.
