QUESTION
Is this particular barrel open on top and closed on the bottom? What is the exact diameter of the opening. I wish to hide a 13" x 19" propane tank (standard BBQ gas tank) under it. Thank you

ANSWER
The outside diameter in the middle is 16-1/2 inches, the inner middle diameter is 13 inches and the inner diameter at the top opening is 11 inches. The 13 x 19 inch propane tank will not fit. Bradbury does make an 18 x 24 and a 20 x 24 barrel. We do not have those in stock, but you can contact Wasserstrom customer service at 1-866-634-8927 to get help ordering the right size.

QUESTION
I'd like to use the entire depth of the barrel the full 24". Based on the specs it appears there is a false bottom so the depth is less than 24". Can the "false" bottom be removed to get the full depth? Do you have a 15 x 24 barrel in a barnboard finish? Do you have wood lids available instead of acrylic??

ANSWER
Model 1624B does not have a false bottom. Model 2030DB (Item 200600) does have a false bottom and it is 30 inches deep. We do not have a barrel with a barnboard finish, but Bradbury Barrel does offer custom finishes.
