Would this jar be appropriate to store honey?
Is it heavy enough glass?
Hi. This jar is made of glass and has a screw top, so it should be ok for honey. Thanks!

I bought this one gallon jar without the lid. What is the measurement of the lid opening? The one I have is 4 and 1/2 inches. Thanks.
Hi. These are all the measurements of the jar: Height: 8", Diameter: 7",
Base: 5-3/4", Top : 6-4/5". Thanks!

We have seven of these jars, but the lids got lost in our last move. Is it possible to buy the lids separately?
Hi. We do not carry the replacement lids for Anchor Glass 1 Gal Cracker Jar w/ Brushed Aluminum Lid , but you can order it at:
what is the diameter of the lid of this jar (anchor85725 1 gallon jar)? the diameter of the lid or opening of the jar) is crucial to my buying it
Hello, this product has an 8" height, a 7" overall diameter, a 5.75" base diameter, and a 6-4/5" top diameter. Thank you!
I have several of these jars and I like them very much. But the lids have become increasingly difficult to put on or take off. Is it possible to purchase replacement lids? If so, I will buy a bunch of lids and more jars. But I don't want to buy any more if the lids fail and can't be replaced. Thanks very much.
Hello, we currently do not carry replacement lids for this product. We would recommend contacting the Anchor Hocking manufacturer directly for assistance in ordering this specific part. Thank you!
I would like to know the diameter of the lid of this jar. Is it possible to get someone to measure it? I'm hoping it will fit an old butter churn lid that is missing its jar.
Hi, this jar has a lid diameter of 6.8". Thank you.

I bought a jar similar to this a while back and it came with a cardboard circle in the lid. I wanted to throw away the cardboard but my boyfriend said it was a seal. Do you keep it or not??
Hi, the cardboard can be thrown away. Thank you.
