Question:
I am needing to be able to cook on gas and current have an electric stove. I have been recomended to purchase a couple burners. This one shows duration 52 minute does that mean per propane refill??? I need to be able to cook at least an hour??? I apologize if a really dumb question i just have never used before. Thank YOu

Hi. Yes, this means that it will run at full power on fuel canister for 52 minutes. If you need to cook for at least an hour, I'd suggest to have another canister just in case. Thanks!

I have this model Iwatani from the 1980's but gave it with some feu butane cannisters last Winter to an elderly cousin and her husband, who were out of power for 6 days up in Washington State! But I think I would like a new Iwatani as described above, and I found another 11 feu cannisters in the garage from the '80s. They are dry and well protected; just need to know if I can use those in the new Iwatani unit. They are 8 oz which I guess is standard.

Hi. Iwatani recommends to use this with their BU-5 and/or BU-6 fuel canisters. Some people use different brands of fuel, but for safety purposes, I can only recommend those Iwatani fuel canisters. Thanks!
