Question:

What does arc-sprayed aluminum bottom mean? Is it aluminum on the outside of the pot only or also on the inside? I am looking for a larger s/s pot to use for canning, and an aluminum interior would defeat the purpose of buying stainless steel.

Answer:

The interior and outside of this stock pot is made of stainless steel. The core that is in between the two layers is aluminum.
