I have looked everywhere for the old, reliable Rubbermaid scraper/spatula since my old ones with wooden handles wore out. I have looked at [...], grocery stores, hardware stores to see if they were available but had no luck. Finally I did a Google search and eventually found this company and it had just what I was looking for at a great price. I would have ordered more, but was afraid that I would be stuck with several stiff plastic scrapers that did not suit my purpose. I was thrilled that the 5 scrapers sent to me were just what I wanted - a pliable, rubber blade on a plastic handle. [...].The only downside to these scrapers is that they degrade in high temperatures and I have to remind my husband not to put them in the dishwasher.

I love this spatula. I bake alot and it just cleans the bowl super. I bake tons of cakes and it's great for frosting. Helps spread on cake and also in cleaning out the bowl.

Are these the old style rubber scrapers that were around forever and are now difficult to find?
Answer:
Hi. We don't stock anything that is overly obsolete/discontinued, so I don't think that these Rubbermaid scrapers are same old style scrapers that were manufacturered a long time ago. But these scrapers are great too! Thanks!

Are these flat rubber scrappers like the old ones with the wooden handles that really worked. Meaning, is the rubber on the ones you sell today as soft and pliable or too hard and not as good? Thank you.
