We really like the Nordic Ware Oval Casserole Dish because, for us, it's the perfect size to put last night's leftovers in to eat for lunch the next day. It's a good size for a lunch portion. It's easy to heat up the food in.
I personally don't put the lid on when heating the food in the microwave (I question whether the plastic of the lid is truly BPA free.) I cover the food with a paper towel or similar. I think the bottom is BPA free.
Because we like the size so much, it doesn't bother us that the lid doesn't stay on perfectly. We put a rubber band around the container to be sure the lid stays on intransit.

We use these to heat up product in controlled portions, and they hold up well in the microwave oven...take a beating too!
