HOW WOULD YOU MOUNT THIS TO A CHARCOAL GRILL? DO YOU HAVE TO DRILL A HOLE IN THE TOP OF YOUR CHARCOAL GRILL?

The image has been updated. The thermometer has two clips on the side that you can mount onto the grill.

based on this is a grill thermostate I assume it can take high heat, can it take a open flame hitting it, and can it come with a stem to incert into the meat? Thanks, Charles
