I bought this grater because my plastic one broke. The cost is far higher than a plastic one, but the durability of the metal makes it well worth the purchase price.

I use it to grind up walnuts when I make Nutrolls. It makes them nice and powdery, which when other ingrediants are added becomes a nice smooth nut paste.
I love this product as it has multiple uses and is a big time-saver for me.

Are different cylinders available for this model? If so how much do they cost?

Sorry, this cheese grater only has the one cylinder available.

Hi. This stainless steel rotary cheese grater is dishwasher safe. There are no plastic parts in it.
