The product itself works very well, seeing how it is simply gas. The appearance, however, is very unappealing.

Really stretches out leftover opened bottles of red wine. Easily stores well for a couple days after opening.

A bar and kitchen essential! Not just for wine, but for spirits, guacamole, and even ketchup. A must for making rose syrup or any recipe where oxidation is the enemy. Easy to use. Warn your help not to throw out the bottle because they always feel empty!

QUESTION
I was wondering if this product can be used for preserving food ( such as rice) in liters of plastic bottles?

ANSWER
Hi. This Private Preserveā„¢ Wine Preserver is best used for liquids, because it puts a blanket/layer of gas to protect further oxidation. I don't think it would work well with dried goods. Thanks!
