The thermometer is accurate, easy to clean, and it clips onto your shirt pocket. You do have to remember that is plastic so you do not want to leave it in the oven or grill.

One was dropped in a fryer accidentally. It was fished out after 2 minutes. The case was melted a little, but the thermometer still works! I love it!
The temperature range is what drew me to it. I have given one to all my managers.

I bought it because it is like the one my Chef Instructor uses. I figured if it were good enough for him, it would be good enough for me. Obviously, as a student, the issues of sanitation and safety have been brought to the fore in my cooking and baking. Proper temperatures are important for both degrees of doneness and handling of potentially hazardous foods.

I work around fish ponds & take water temps. Like that it is waterproof, but would like for the probe cover to float, so I never drop it from a boat & lose it at bottom of a lake. Numerals could be larger for older people, but you can't have everything. Like that it fits in my pocket. My biggest problem (with my last one) was with people admiring it so much that when I turn my back, it's gone! Oh yeah, numerals could light up like a Timex digital watch. Really like your products...

i want to know if i can change the battery .. there is a place on the back of it that reads open or close. can't get it open

Hi. Yes, you can change the 1.5 volt battery. If it says open or close on the back, you can open it up. There might be a tab or indentation to give you access to it. Thanks! |
