This is a tough little unit. We use it to monitor milk temperatures during Pasteurization at our goat dairy. We've gone through so many other brands of thermometers, and this is the only one that withstands the conditions in the milk house. The thermocouples, while good, are not as tough as the thermometers itself and the insulation does wear out over time so you may need to have an extra one on hand. All in all, we love it!

Does this come with a probe or do I have to order one seperate?

You would have to order a seperate probe for this thermocouple. |
