QUESTION
What cleaning product can be used to dissolve the butterfat and bacon grease that gets drawn inside the toaster? And, which parts should not be subjected to chemicals? Because of the proximity to the grills, on our line, the toasters are victims of splashing oils.

ANSWER
The manufacturer does not recommend using any chemicals especially near the coils that would burn. If the grease falls down to the crumb tray it can be removed and cleaned as any kitchen utensil. This outside toaster body maybe wiped with a damp cloth.
