QUESTION What is the difference btw the AM pizza stone and the AM baking stone? Are they both made of corderite? How thick is this pizza stone?
ANSWER From what I read the only difference that I saw was that this pizza stone is dishwasher safe. They are both made of corderite. The thickness is about 1/2" thick.
As described, works pretty well, stained pretty easily, unable to clean the stains off, but pretty good for the price.

I purchased two of these the day my garbage pizza stone split after only one week of use. Now that could have been operator error but I will never buy another stone again since having my Wasserstrom ones. I have used them for pizza, THE BEST cookies I ever baked came of the stone, loaves of bread, muffins and soon to be much much more. The price was competitive with local retailers and the restaurant quality was important to me at a reasonable cost.

This pizza stone has made some amazing pizzas for me. Its able to heat the pizzas evenly when you bake at 500 degrees or more in only 6-7 minutes and really makes great pizzas.
