For those who hesitate, these do come seasoned. Since they are inexpensive I ordered four with the thought that the others would make nice gifts. I reseasoned them that evening then used one for a small bacon-wrapped filet and another for a Judith Jones potato dish. (Solo cooks please check out her book.) These performed admirably and I look forward to years of use.

A good size for one egg, or olive oil and a spice. Also makes handy personal portion things to prepare, refrigerate then heat in the oven.
There isn't much small around today that can be used stove-top, oven, broiler just as it is.

As a single senior cook I use this little skillet almost every day. In fact I purchased two of them and use them for practically everything. The small skillet keeps the portions down so I only cook what I eat at one sitting. I love iron cookware and these little skillets have been a real blessing to me in keeping my portions right plus the advantages of having a cast iron cooking pan. There are no downs to this product.
