Question:
is this glove rated at high heat I need something that can be used in working with hot oil from fryers

This glove is able to be used on tempratures up to 400 degrees.

Does this glove come with any variety of hand size option? I understand the length is flat 18" but I didn't see anything relating to the size of the hand/finger slot.

Hi. The Ansell Thermaprene 18" Heat Resistant Neoprene Gloves comes in two sizes, 8 (medium) and 10 (extra large). We only carry size 10 for this, though. Sorry, the manufacturer doesn't list anything about finger slot size, just the information below on measuring your hand: Ordering the right size is the best way to assure that gloves are comfortable. One way to determine the size needed is to use a dressmaker’s cloth tape to measure around the hand. Measure above the thumb and below the fingers. The circumference of the hand (rounded to the nearest half inch) is numerically equal to the worker’s average glove size. Measuring the hands in this way will not account for all possible variations in hand size. Some workers, for example, may have long fingers, while others will have short fingers. Workers may find gloves that are one-half or even a full size larger or smaller than the measured hand size fit more comfortably. Thanks! |
