QUESTION
is this box suitable for transporting food or merely for serving? is the lid leak-resistant?

ANSWER
Hello, according to the manufacturer the lid does not have a perfectly sealed fit on the box, so it is not recommended for heavy transport. However, it is made from plastic and can be used with foods that have more of a liquid content. Thank you!

Do I have to use small dishes inside to serve food in bento? Does it stain, if food is oily? How long can they last? I need it for restaurant use. Is there discount if I purchase over 10 bento boxes?

Hello, this bento box can be used as-is without the addition of small dishes. This box should not show signs of oily food, but if the food is exceptionally oily a liner may be useful.
