are the tubes heat proof? i'd like to make a custard in these which requires placing in water bath and baking at least 325 degrees F.
Answer:
Hi. These are meant for use for cold or non-boiling food items such as single-shot drinks and/or food samplings. I'd recommend cooking the custard in glass or porcelain ramekin, and then transferring it to the bamboo tubes for serving. Thanks! |
