QUESTION
Where is this product manafactured? Also, does it come with steel gears or is that only for the replacement part? I am comparing this to the Dynamic salad spinner which is made in France, but on downside, comes with plastic gears. Thank you.

ANSWER
This salad spinner is manufactured in Thailand and the gears are made of plastic. I'm sorry, we currently do not have a salad spinner with metal gears.

QUESTION
do they make replacement gears for this unit. the one I purchased from you only lasted a couple of years and the gears are shot.

ANSWER
The large gear is item number 123572. The small gear item number is 123573.
