I bought this Mesh Grate to fit inside a ΒΌ sheet baking pan. It fits perfectly! Very hard to find a grate this size. I only wish it had been packed for shipping more carefully. It arrived slightly bent and dented. I was able to bend it back into shape. Other than that, I'm very pleased.

Question:
I need a grate between 8 x 12 and 9 x 13 to put in the bottom of a roasting pan, be submerged in water, and rest my creme brulee cups on it for the bain-marie step. The water will not boil. Is this steel safe for submerging and heating? It is a good size for me.
