Question:
What brand of coffee is recommended so that the grounds don't filter through the basket holes into the coffee. Is there a paper filter that can be used to prevent this? I have already tried 3 brands of coffee that say for all coffee makers, or even say for percolator use and they all go through the holes in the baskets.
Answer:
Hi. You can use any brand, but the you need the right coffee ground size, which is a coarse grind. Some examples of brands I've seen people use is the coffee from BJ's Wholesale, Community Coffee Medium Roast Ground Coffee, and Starbucks. You can use any paper filter that would fit the basket. |
