Question:
I read to avoid impact with hard objects. Sharp knives or utensils may scratch and weaken glass bakeware. May I use an electric hand held mixer in the Anchor Hocking Glass 4 qt Mixing Bowl, my husband got it today for me? I am disabled with a very rare disesase (it won't kill me) and rarely leave my home, except to go to dentist & doctor. My husband does all the shopping. I do not like plastic bowls anymore they get scratches and bacteria could get stuck in those places. The only plastic I have is a large & small measuring cups. I have a glass measuring cup. Please tell me I can use a hand held mixer. Sincerely, Em
Answer:
Hi. Yes, you can use a hand mixer in this mixing bowl. Another option is a stainless steel bowl. Item 137440 is a heavy duty 4qt stainless steel mixing bowl for about the same price. Thanks!

Question:
I am confused: Is this 4-quart mixing bowl sold individually? or by "case of 2"?
Answer:
Hi. We sell this by the case of 2 bowls. For example, if you'd only like 2 bowls, leave the quantity for 1 CASE. If you'd like 4, change it to 2 cases. Thanks!

Question:
I broke mixing bowl to black and decker stand mixer Model SM100. It is an old mixer. Do you think this will fit in the above mixer. Obviously it sits on a plate on mixer. i can't see the bottom of your mixer to see if it is the same. Let me know if you can please. Bill
Answer:
Hi. The item number you asked this question on is for #543311, which is a Anchor Hocking Glass 4 Qt Mixing Bowl. I don't could not locate a Black and Decker SM100 stand mixer to see what their bowl dimensions are, so I don't know if this Anchor Hocking bowl is similar enough. Please see the dimensions we have listed on this item's product page. Thanks! |
