We bought these to use at home for shakes & smoothies since the standard store straws don't cut it. This is a nice size for that purpose but they are not really a thicker weight, which would've been nice. We have way more than we need since I couldn't order a smaller quanitity. Overall... a good product!

I am just wondering the approximate diameter of these straws. (and also your 'jumbo' straws) I'm looking to purchase straws for homemade smoothies so I need them to be fairly thick. Thank you.
Answer:
The jumbo straws are 5.5mm and the giant straws are 7.4mm.
