This pedestal is so striking! Cakes and cupcakes are gorgeous served on this piece, but I also use it for presenting appetizers when entertaining. Most recently used it to present finger sandwiches for a party - really stunning! I get compliments every time I use it. The price is really terrific for the quality and original look of the piece as well.

Can you tell me what material the platter is made of? Is the pedestal attached or is the platter sitting on the pedestal?

This is made from ceramic and has a glossy finish. The pedestal is attached. Thank you.
