I use these gloves as Hot Food Handling (tearing up hot pulled pork and shredding other BBQ Meats).
I also use these same gloves for hot soapy water with bleach for clean up of the food station, pots, and utensils.
Pro; they are super nicely insulated. No issues with heat whatsoever.
They are also a great length.
Con; they are too stiff otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Question:
How do these stand up to heat? Do they melt over time?
Answer:
These gloves can withstand temperatures up to 450 degrees in short intervals. There is a one year warranty with these gloves. They will melt if they are exposed to higher temperatures. Thank you.

What cold temperature are the gloves rated? Looking for something for handling dry ice.
Answer:
Hello, these gloves do not have a specific cold temperature. They can be used with cold items, and they will not become brittle or break - but they will not offer warmth. We currently carry a few freezer gloves, such as item #107935. Thank you! |
