Is this just 1 set and does it have a stopper which children can't open?

This is just the two cruets with stoppers and the holder. As for the stoppers they are very easy to remove.

What are the stoppers made of -- ground glass, plastic, etc.? Thank you.

The cruets are made of glass and the stand is made of chrome.

These cruets have plastic molded caps for the stoppers which are hard to insert and difficult to remove. They are NOT glass stoppers, as advertised, and are a dropping or spilling accident waiting to happen.

I searched all over to find a cruet set that comes with a stopper on each bottle. The rest of the sets that I came across did not have stoppers or covers for the cruet bottles. I have the set displayed in my china cabinet and my friend told me how pretty it looked.
