Question:
Is this a cooker or just a warmer? I want to use it for sous vide cooking. Will it heat, say, 20 qts of water to 170 degrees? What sort of temperature control does it have, and finally (whew!) is there insulation in the sides and lid? Thanks much for your time and help!
Answer:
This is a rice warmer, which you would add already cooked rice to. This item can only go up to 150 degrees F and has no temperature control. The sides have insulation, but the lid does not. I hope this helps in your sous vide search!
