EXCELLENT QUALITY, EASY TO USE. I USE IT MOSTLY FOR COOKIE DOUGH, BUT HAVE USED THE 30 AND 40 SCOOPS FOR FILLING MINI MUFFIN CUPS. IT JUST DEPENDS UPON THE TYPE OF COOKIE RECIPE--SOME WORK BETTER WITH ONE SIZE, SOME WITH A DIFFERENT SIZE.
I WISH THE SCOOPS HAD THE CAPACITY PRINTED ON THEM AS WELL AS THE SIZE NUMBER. SIZE NUMBER REALLY TELLS ME NOTHING. I ORDERED AN EXTRA SET FOR GIFTS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE IN MY AREA RETAIL STORES.

I have an older model of this scoop ( # 47147). Is this the same size as the # 40 that's on your list now?
Answer:
My guess is that vollrath has changed the model number and that this is the same as your old model. Model 47147 is now a purple handled thumb disher.

Hi. This could work. It is about 1.75 tablespoons. The #30 dishers are about 2.5 tablespoons. Thanks! |
