Question:
I have gone through a dozen eggs trying to use this product according to nordicware directions. Santa Fe is at 7000 ft. The eggs come out over cooked every time. Do you have any suggestions for cooking at altitude with this product?
Answer:
Hi. It could be either the wattage of your oven or the altitude. The instructions are written for 700 watt ovens, so you might need to use this website to determine the timing you'd need (http://www.microwavecookingforone.com/Charts/ChartsFrom700.html). I'm not sure why your eggs are overcooked, because cooking at high altitudes actually requires longer cooking times. So it might be your oven. Thanks!

Question:
HOW DO I USE THIS THING?
Answer:
Hello, you place 1/2-teaspoon of water into each cup, and then add an egg to each cup and pierce the yolks lightly. Then you close the lid, and microwave according to your tastes or microwave wattage. Let the eggs stand for a minute or two and then open and enjoy! Thank you! |
