is this container Microwaveable?

I am writing about a single serving dish container with a cover which I cannot get off the dish. It is air tight. What is the trick to this? Someone gave it to me, but unless I can figure out how to open it, I would never purchase it myself, or recommend it. This is a Newspring producy; the name is on the bottom of the dish.

The cover should be able to come off. If you had the model number of the container, we can look into it further. Are the rest of the containers/covers like that? Maybe just that one cover was accidentally fused into the container? Or someone microwaved it too long and it fused onto itself that way?

Are these containers suitable for freezer storage? Also is there a steam hole in the lid?

Hi. Yes, this can be used for freezer storage. For microwaving, I would suggest that you lift the lid to remove the airtight seal. Thanks!

Hello, this is the only product we have in the 16 Oz. size by this manufacturer. We do currently carry other similar 16 Oz. containers that are clear though, such as item #6001819. Thank you!
